We're creating small, four-day retreats for women in their 20s and 30s who want to step away from everyday life, spend time in beautiful homes, and reconnect with their creativity alongside others.
Whether you haven't painted since school or you carry a sketchbook everywhere, you'll find a place here.
We're currently planning our very first retreats, with locations across the UK; from cosy countryside cottages to homes by the coast. Join the waitlist to follow along and be the first to hear when bookings open.
Why this exists
Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped making things.
Not because we stopped loving it. Life just got fuller. Work became busier. Weekends became errands. Our hobbies quietly slipped further down the list until one day we realised we couldn't remember the last time we sat down and created something just because we wanted to.
Maybe you painted when you were younger. Maybe you loved drawing. Maybe you've always wanted to try but never knew where to begin.
Whatever your story, you're welcome here.
This isn't about becoming an artist.
It's about giving yourself the space to be creative again.
There won't be anyone grading your work. Some people might spend hours painting. Someone else might fill a journal. Another person might crochet by the fire. The point isn't what you make. It's that you make something.

What makes the making house different
You don't need to be talking all day. Sometimes it's enough to sit around the same table, each working on something different.
There'll be conversations over breakfast, walks through the countryside, evenings playing games, and quiet moments where everyone disappears into their own projects.
It's not just about making art. It's about making friendships, making memories, and leaving with a little piece of yourself that you'd forgotten was there.
A weekend at the making house
Some people are up with the sunrise, sketchbook and coffee in hand. Others do their best work after dinner with music playing softly in the background. Whatever your rhythm, we'll be there for it, with thoughtfully curated spaces and activities designed to meet you exactly where you are.
No two retreats will be exactly the same, but here's a little glimpse into what you can expect.
☀️ Slow Mornings
Coffee, breakfast, optional creative prompts and uninterrupted time to make.
🌿 Inspiring Afternoons
Paint, explore the local area, join a countryside walk or try a seasonal creative activity.
✨ Cosy Evenings
Shared dinners, creative games, movie nights, painting by candlelight or conversations around the fire.
💛 Your Weekend, Your Way
Join every invitation or simply follow your own rhythm. There are no expectations; just space to create.

The house
We're looking for homes that feel like homes. The house isn't just where the retreat happens. It's part of the experience.
